BIO
Trevon Marquis Barnes is a celebrity stylist and personal shopper hailing from Washington DC. Barnes was born with a love for fashion, which was greatly influenced by his grandmother who began sewing as a hobby and is now the family’s resident seamstress. Right from the start, his uncle exposed him to high end designer fashion and is featured in the book, Men’s Hardwear, A Gentlemen’s Guide to Timeless Fashion.
Following his dreams of becoming a celebrity stylist, Barnes moved to LA to study under THE Ade Samuel, noted as one of Hollywood’s most powerful stylist. From there, he was accepted into the Fashion Institute of Technology, studying Fashion Business Management (making the Dean's list), and graduating with honors (Cum Laude). Barnes is a proud recipient of the Gucci Changemakers Scholarship Award and received an internship with Calvin Klein in the visual merchandising department. He continues to work with the multi-billion dollar brand as a freelance visual merchandising associate.
Barnes' work also includes costume design for the 4x Emmy winning "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon"; Production Assistant in the costume design department for the highest rated, most watched Starz tv hit show "PowerBook II: Ghost"; and is currently styling several world renowned artists and more, coupled with assisting the very talented image consultant and celebrity stylist, Bobby Wesley.
